Guidance for the AMA’s 2023 Outpatient E & M Guidelines

How will the 2023 Outpatient E & M Guidelines impact your revenue? What documentation is now required to demonstrate the acuity of the encounter and the medical decision making involved? Providers continue to face an onslaught of downward market pressures. The implementation of the No Surprises Act, payer demands to accept 50% or greater reductions in-network rates or face contract termination, and new guidelines from the AMA all impact your reimbursement.

Register today for a review of the new guidelines, best practices for effective documentation, and other tools to mitigate declining reimbursement. We’ll cover strategies from initial patient registration to final collection, while keeping patient engagement, provider satisfaction, financial health and administrative burden in the forefront of our endeavors.

  • Attendees will be able to articulate the key changes in the 2023 AMA Guidelines
  • Participants will identify areas of potential revenue loss and documentation practices to mitigate them
  • Attendees will review tools to optimize reimbursement while reducing administrative burden for the entire practice.
