Deepak Thomas is the founder and CEO of Phil. He started the company as patient zero after being diagnosed with a chronic illness in the late 90s and struggled to navigate his own care within the complex US healthcare system. Several years later, he applied his experience in tech to build a solution that expands and simplifies patient access to specialty drugs, while aligning economic incentives for therapy manufacturers.

Len Paolillo

Len has two decades of commercial strategy and product launch experience. Previously, he served as executive vice president and Chief Commercial Officer at Kyowa Kirin Inc., the North American affiliate of Kyowa Kirin Co. Ltd., where he was responsible for the growth and transformation of the commercial infrastructure to enable the successful launches of the company’s pipeline products in hematology/oncology, CNS, and rare disease. Prior, he served as senior director of sales at Warner Chilcott Pharmaceuticals where he led sales forces in Women’s Health, Primary Care, and Dermatology. In addition to product launches, Len has extensive experience in market access, marketing, and commercial operations as well as developing key partnerships and business development opportunities. He began his healthcare career at EURO RSCG LIFE LM&P, a full-service healthcare advertising agency and holds a B.S. in business administration from Manhattan College.

Kim Plesnarski

Kim has held commercial roles in business development, marketing, market access and patient services for at manufacturers prior to joining Syneos Health in 2015. Today Kim’s group is one of the fastest growing areas in the US and she leads one of the largest field access teams in the industry. Vic Baldry works in Global Content Marketing for Merck, primarily focused on marketing strategy for the Hospital Acute Care franchise.

Vic has over 15 years of marketing experience split across two continents and multiple industries. He started his career in London working for IBM, before joining Oliver Wyman, a global management consulting firm. After relocating to the US, he was responsible for delivering innovative marketing campaigns to major clients in the healthcare industry as part of the Health & Life Sciences team. Most recently, he was the Director of Marketing at Cecelia Health, a digital health company focused on medication adherence solutions for the Pharma and Payer segments.
