Scott Harrison is the Vice President of Enterprise Data Services/Chief Data Officer at Parkland Health and Hospital System in Dallas, Texas. He has served in healthcare for over 25 years and began his career as a Registered Nurse before transitioning to IT and eventually landing in the fascinating world of Analytics and Data Management.
During his tenure at Parkland, he successfully led their analytics team to a HIMSS Analytics Level 7 Maturity Ranking and was the 6th hospital to achieve this recognition. His clinical background brings a unique perspective to the data solutions his team produces, fulfilling the purpose at Parkland IT, which serves our mission to be an extended member of the care team, providing technical solutions for those who care for our patients.

Walt heads up business development and strategic partnerships for all the Healthcare interests within SAP North America Regulated Industries. He has been with SAP for nine years and has over 35 years of healthcare operation and systems experience with early-stage and start-up companies. Walt has his master’s degree in Health Services Administration and started his career as an Administrator at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington DC.

Mr. Dietrich is a 25-year Intel veteran and in his current assignment manages enterprise business strategy and customer engagement with public sector institutions within the State of Texas. In this role, Mr. Dietrich manages a broad portfolio of Intel products and technologies used for digital transformation projects in education, healthcare, state/local government, energy/environment, smart cities/smart government, public safety, and broadband.
Additionally, Mr. Dietrich is board member for the Austin Smart City Alliance, an active member of the Texas Association of State Systems for Computing and Communications, and holds numerous Industry Advisory roles with Higher Education Institutions in Texas including the ECE IAB at the University of Houston.

Josh Garza has over 20 years of experience in IT with a focus on healthcare. He joined Parkland Health and Hospital System in 2017 as an Enterprise Data Architect and now serves as the Principal Data Architect for Parkland. In this role Josh is constantly working on ways to ensure higher quality data and analytics are available to the organization by designing and leading the implementation of our analytics technology solutions. He is currently focused on helping to advance the strategic goals of the Enterprise Data Services group within IT. He enjoys getting into the weeds and figuring out how to implement new tech as well as mentoring other developers.
