Webinar: Finding the right patients for clinical trials

The challenge of finding the best patients for clinical trials became evident during the COVID-19 pandemic, when multiple pharma companies and CROs needed to recruit participants for vaccine trials as fast as possible. CRO services firms stepped up to meet the challenge with an online matching tool dedicated specifically to matching patients with COVID-19 studies.

It’s just one example of emerging technologies designed to ease the process of recruiting patients for clinical trials. CROs that embrace these technologies could greatly improve the speed and efficiency of their trials.

We’ll explore the landscape of technologies and services that match patients to clinical trials, providing feedback from CRO executives who have experience with them.

Topics include:

  • How innovative technology is being harnessed to extract information from electronic medical records in order to identify the most appropriate patients for clinical trials.
  • Best practices for using social media to match patients to clinical trials.
  • Working with patient advocacy groups to incorporate clinical-trial matching technology into their member-facing websites and other communications platforms.
