Mark is the Chief Executive Officer at Verato, a leading provider of cloud-based patient matching services. Verato offers a cloud-based matching platform that links and matches identities across disparate sources with the highest accuracy rates in the industry while being less expensive, faster to implement, and more scalable than traditional matching technology.  Mark was formerly at MicroStrategy, a business intelligence software provider, for 14 years where he was the Executive Vice President of Products. Prior to MicroStrategy, Mark was with Ernst & Young for 17 years.

Hong is a Senior Program Investment Officer at the California Health Care Foundation where she makes mission-driven investments in healthcare IT and tech-enabled service businesses, and leads CHCF’s grant portfolio on data exchange and interoperability. Prior to joining CHCF, Hong was an investor for multiple healthcare corporate funds, including Summation Health Ventures, the venture capital arm of Cedars-Sinai and MemorialCare Health Systems, and Kaiser Permanente Ventures. Hong holds bachelor’s degrees in human biology and international relations from Brown University, and a master’s degree in public health from Yale University. Genevieve Morris

Genevieve is a health IT policy wonk who leads Change Healthcare’s clinical interoperability strategy development for the clinical networks team. Prior to joining Change Healthcare, Genevieve worked as an independent contractor for a number of health IT companies, helping them understand the health IT regulatory landscape and build product roadmaps to meet the needs of individuals across the healthcare ecosystem.  Genevieve also served as the Principal Deputy National Coordinator, supporting the development of the information blocking regulation. She also developed the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) policy.  Genevieve also served as the Chief Health Information Officer for the VA’s Office of EHR Modernization.

Tom Schwaninger

Tom Schwaninger is the Senior Executive Digital Advisor at L.A. Care Health Plan, where he previously served as Chief Information Officer for the past 7 years. He has been in CIO roles for most of his career across a number of industries with a focus on healthcare, insurance and financial services. Tom has successfully developed and implemented global IT strategies delivering business value across various industries including financial services, insurance, healthcare, biotech/pharma, non-profits, distribution, manufacturing and supply chain management. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science in computer science from Purdue University and a Master’s of Business Administration from Stanford University.
